McConnell Follows Through on Supporting his Candidate Joe O’Dea

NRSC props up O’Dea in Colorado Senate race

Mitch McConnell is following through on his promise just two weeks after appearing at a fundraiser and pledging to support his “perfect candidate” Joe O’Dea in the Colorado Senate race. The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) is propping up O’Dea in Colorado this week.

O’Dea would give McConnell the Republican majority he needs to pass a nationwide abortion ban, cut taxes for the rich, and put Social Security at risk. Last week, Colorado Democrats released a video to highlight that O’Dea will be McConnell’s latest yes-man instead of a voice for Colorado.

Just like McConnell is following through on his promise, O’Dea is proving to be a reliable vote for MAGA Republicans. After months of campaigning on inflation and claiming to be for working Coloradans, O’Dea abandoned his stance to side with Republicans to oppose the Inflation Reduction Act which would fight inflation and lower costs for working Americans by making big corporations pay their fair share and investing to combat the climate crisis.
