New Report Shows Ganahl’s Advisor at the Heart of Jan. 6 Coup Plot

Ganahl Hired Key Trump Official Who Orchestrated Jan. 6 Coup Plot,

Refuses to Denounce Epshteyn and Eastman

New reporting shows Ganahl campaign advisor Boris Epshteyn masterminded the January 6th coup plot to rig the 2020 election for Donald Trump. Emails detailing the conspiracy have been revealed by the New York Times, showing most of the planning for January 6th went directly through Boris Epshteyn and John Eastman.

Ganahl brought on Epshteyn as a top advisor to her campaign in June and has paid his consulting firm $15,000. She has refused to denounce Epshteyn and Eastman’s involvement in the coup attempt. She has also brought Danny Moore, another election denier, onto her campaign as her running mate.

Epshteyn’s involvement in the coup and Ganahl’s campaign raises new questions about Ganahl’s direct connection to election deniers around the country, such as Rudy Giuliani and Coloradan Jenna Ellis.

All points to one thing: Heidi Ganahl doesn’t think the 2020 election was legitimately decided for Joe Biden and believes everything should have been done to keep Trump in power.

“If Ganahl thought our elections were free and fair, and that she doesn’t agree with the January 6 coup, she would say so. She has not, and instead defends John Eastman and hires Boris Epshteyn.  - Kailee Stiles, Colorado Democratic Party spokesperson.
