NO MOORE REGRETS: Republican LG Pick Danny Moore Wouldn’t Undo Election Conspiracy Posts
This week, GOP Lieutenant Governor nominee Danny Moore was asked on right-wing radio if he would take back his now-deleted Facebook posts questioning the 2020 election. His response? “I wouldn’t do it.”
Despite previously announcing that he would no longer respond to questions about those posts, and ignoring reporters’ questions at his only press event, Moore plowed ahead with his bizarre answer: “The last three elections we've had in our country have been contested, whether there's been Bush and Gore, Trump and Clinton, Trump and Biden,” a stunning feat of both-sidesism that Heidi Ganahl has also tried to use, also unsuccessfully.
Moore’s original social media posts spread conspiracy theories about the legitimacy of 2020 election results, calling them “the Democrat steal.” Moore was consequently unanimously removed as chair of the Independent Congressional Redistricting Commission.
“The Ganahl campaign is stacked with election deniers like Danny Moore, Boris Epshteyn and Brad Parscale, leaving no doubt that Heidi is the conspirator-in-chief.” - Colorado Democratic Party spokesperson Kailee Stiles
