Colorado Dems Release Video Exposing Hiding Heidi’s Extreme Stance on Abortion

Now that the GOP has chosen Hiding Heidi Ganahl to be their standard-bearer for the general election, she must be held accountable for her hard-right positions. 

Following the Dobbs v. Jackson decision by the Supreme Court, Coloradans need to know where Ganahl stands on abortion bans and how committed she is to taking  choice and freedoms away. 

With the repeal of Roe v. Wade, Governors now play a critical role in determining their constituents’ right to choose and, notably, Ganahl has some of the most anti-choice beliefs of all statewide candidates. 

Today, Colorado Democrats released a video with this statement from Chair Morgan Carroll:

“Colorado is a refuge for abortion protections in the West, and Heidi Ganahl will literally tear up those protections if elected Governor. Voters have overwhelmingly rejected abortion bans before and they will reject Heidi’s radical position. Millions of people depend on abortion access and they need to know what Heidi really stands for: regressive state control over women’s bodies.”
