Denver, CO - The Colorado Democratic Party released the following statement about the passing of Madeleine Albright:

"We are devastated by the passing of Madeleine Albright. She has inspired many with her powerful story of being a refugee to becoming the Secretary of State. As the first woman to hold that position, she shattered numerous glass ceilings and left behind a phenomenal legacy that will make Coloradans proud and continue to inspire us all for years to come."
